The Brookfield Police Department has members who by
virtue of specialized training, experience, interest, and assignment
have become members of specialized teams. Membership, in most cases,
is in addition to their normally assigned duties as a police officer.
The Accident Investigation Team is one of these units.
All the B.A.I.T. members have successfully completed
accident investigation courses. Three members are advanced
accident reconstructionists.
